Aproximação à falha dos objectos intraduzíveis accrue from the intimate and practical relationship with objects. In a closer perception of this relationship, which is made up of many specific relations, this exhibition comes from the most recent artistic practice of the last two years in Porto and, from other times and spaces, after the practice that always was, after all, the approximation to the flaw. Aproximação à falha dos objectos intraduzíveis is also a text and is also an object, as a color can be, as a box can be, as a drawing is: their existence is within their appropriate systems of language and therefore they are made in those appropriate measurements, by approximation. The failure of objects is what they have of most poetic and artistic interest, because it is the failure of things that can only exist in relation and therefore are untranslatable. Failure is not a justification of irreducibility, on the contrary, it is the interstice of the possible and, as for poetic objects and artistic objects, it is the place, where and when by approximation, they are made.
